How can I create a cloud account?
You need to first navigate to ’Sign In To Cloud’ and sign in with your Gmail ID. Once you’ve
signed in, your data is automatically backed up on our cloud server. Any change that you make to the data on your phone will
instantly update the data in the cloud as well.
How will my data be backed up onto my cloud account?
Once you've signed in, your data is instantly and automatically backed up onto the cloud. The free version does not back up receipt and vehicle images.
You need the pro version to back up receipts and vehicle images.
Can I restore data from the cloud?
Yes, if you change phones or re-install Fuel Buddy, then all you need to do is sign in with
the same Gmail ID that was used to previously. All your data will be restored.
Can I share data instantly with other drivers?
Yes, but this is available on the pro vesrion in Android only. You need to sign in to cloud with your Gmail ID. Once you've
signed in, you need to add drivers who should have also signed in on their respective devices.
Once the drivers are added, you could perform a full sync to transfer all the data available on your phone to the other driver's phone.
Any fill-up, service, expense or trip that you add, update or delete will be synced instantly on the other driver's phones, and vice versa.
How is Google Drive backup different from signing into Cloud?
Signing into cloud backs up your data instantly and automatically whenever you make a change on your phone, whereas Google Drive backup has to be done manually.
Signing into cloud backs up your data on the Fuel Buddy cloud server where we archive data weekly, whereas Google Drive backup backs up data on your personal Google Drive account.
Signing into cloud also lets you use other cloud enabled features such as syncing data with multiple devices and drivers and accessing data on the web. This is not possible with Google Drive backups.
